In 2023 Ian founded Riggs WoodCraft in Pinellas Park as the kind of fabrication partner he had always wished he could hire.

Joined a millwork and furniture company in Arizona, eventually running production across two facilities — including a 50,000 sq ft floor in Sonora, Mexico. Built QC and scheduling discipline behind a high-end millwork operation.
Started in architectural offices through college, working on construction documents and project detail. Transitioned into design-build after — building projects in the field, working with subcontractors and architects to make sure the idea could become reality. Still close to the design side, but finally in the field where things got made.
Multi-site commercial buildouts, hospitality fabrication, and architect-driven custom work — led as project manager and director of production at a previous firm, over a decade running its production floor.
