Before the first job, we have a conversation. Every shop has its own way — hole patterns, offsets, clearances, reveals, how the box wants to go together. We set all of that up on our end before anything gets cut, and we’ll run a prototype to your standards first if you want to see it in hand. Once it is dialed in, your files go straight to nesting and stay that way.

AdWood Cehisa Expert edgebander. Material up to 2.5" thick, banding up to 4mm. Hardwood rolls and sticks, PVC, and laminates.

Precision drilling & flip ops

32mm system line boring, hinge cups, and shelf pins run on the Thermwood drill banks — tighter tolerances than a dedicated boring machine. Edge boring on the Maggi when geometry calls for it. Two-sided flip operations are routine here.

Built, squared, dadoed, with BLUM hardware. Flat-pack option available for shipping.

  • Two Thermwood CNC routers
    M43-510 and C42. Both with 5'×10' sheet capacity, drill banks for face line boring, vacuum hold-down (Becker and Dekker pumps), and dust extraction.
  • AdWood Cehisa Expert edgebander
    Material up to 2.5" thick, banding up to 4mm. Pre-mill, glue, end trim, top/bottom scrape, buff. Hardwood rolls and sticks, PVC, and laminates.
  • Felder solid-wood line
    Jointer, planer, and Format 4 sliding saw for solid stock breakdown and dimensioning.
  • Maggi boring machine
    Dedicated edge boring — drilling into the edges of material for dowels, knock-down hardware, and panel joinery. Face line boring runs on the Thermwood drill banks for tighter tolerances.
  • Shop infrastructure
    Air compressor and dust collection throughout. Climate-controlled production floor.

Every axis is laser-mapped and compensated through the whole envelope, and tool length is set to ±.001″. Boring runs on the router rather than a dedicated borer, which holds tighter than a separate machine and a second setup. Two-sided flip operations are routine. A second Thermwood router, a C42 with two 5×5 tables that lock together in the control as a full 5×10, is being brought online.

Pre-milled before the band goes on, then radius-scraped, glue-scraped and buffed in the same pass — the edge comes off the machine finished, not needing cleanup. 5mm solid wood strips is the capability most banders do not have; roll banding only is the norm.

The 12′ slider is the spec worth knowing. The router's bed stops at 121″, so anything between 10 and 12 feet — tall pantry gables, closet uprights, long shelving, countertop blanks — gets cut here, square and in one pass, instead of being seamed or sent out. Three-axis positioning off a touchscreen, and it reads cutting plans straight out of optimization software.

This is the part most parts shops do not have. Spiral heads mean tear-free surfacing on figured stock, and the jointer's infeed tilts for concave and convex jointing — invisible glue lines on wide panels. It is what makes tops, mitered work and solid-wood components possible rather than a maybe.

What we do not do: finishing. There is no spray booth here — we cut, band, bore and assemble, and finishing is coordinated through the shops we work with. If you need parts finished, say so with the quote request and we will route it.

What it costs

Priced off the sheet, the cut, and the setup.

No mystery quoting. Every job is priced from the same rate card, whether it comes in through the order form or as a cut list in your inbox.

Sheet processing
From $90 / sheet

Engineering, cutting, edgebanding, labeling and palletizing, priced by the sheet. Material is separate — at cost if we buy it, nothing at all if you supply it. Handling is included on most orders; oversized material may carry one. Nesting efficiency works in your favor: a full sheet of parts costs less per part than a handful.

A real sheet, all in
$135 / sheet

5′ × 8′ × ¾″ white melamine on particleboard, all in — material, programming, cutting, boring, removable labels on every part, edgebanding, and palletized for pickup. That is a $100 sheet rate plus the board at our cost. Nothing else gets added at the end.

Assembly, if you want it
From $50 / box

Cabinet boxes built, squared and dadoed from $50. Drawer boxes assembled from $35 each. Both are add-ons to the sheet price and neither includes material. Flat-pack costs less and ships better — we’ll tell you which makes sense for your job.

SetupA one-time programming charge per project. Larger projects may have this fee waived.
StorageFirst week on our racks is free. After that, $50 per week per pallet (48″ × 120″, up to about 24″ high).
MinimumsNo minimum order quantity. Setup applies to most orders, so a very small project may not pencil out — but if it fits on the machine, we’ll quote it.

We quote

Standard cut-list quotes returned within 3–4 business days. Pricing covers materials, machine time, drilling, edgebanding, hardware, and local pickup.

STEP 03
You approve. We cut.

Production goes into the next available slot — standard parts 1–2 weeks, custom parts 2–6 weeks. Need it faster? Ask — we can usually work a rush in.

STEP 04
Pickup, or we ship it

Pickup is how most jobs go out — palletized and forklifted into your vehicle, and we hold the pallet on our racks a week free while you make room. Out of the area it goes LTL freight or full trailer, anywhere in the country.

Need it sooner? We can usually work a time-sensitive job in — 24–72 hours is realistic more often than not. Depending on what is already on the floor there may be a surcharge, and often there is not. Call us and we’ll tell you what is possible this week before you commit to anything.

FAQ

Common questions, answered.

Do I have to be a cabinet shop to order?
No. We cut for cabinet and closet companies, builders, and people building their own kitchen or closet. The tolerances and the finish standard are the same either way. What changes is how much hand-holding the order needs — if you are not used to reading a cut list, say so and we will walk the dimensions with you before anything gets cut.
What happens if I get a measurement wrong?
Cut-to-size parts are made to the numbers you give us, so they cannot be returned or restocked. That is why we confirm the critical dimensions in writing before the job goes on the machine. Check your numbers twice, and if you are unsure about a dimension, flag it in your order and we will look at it with you first.
Do you have a minimum order?

No minimum order quantity. Setup applies to most orders, so a very small project may not pencil out — but if it fits on the machine, we’ll quote it.

Do you deliver, or do I pick up?

Pickup is how most jobs go out. Your parts leave palletized, wrapped and labeled, and we forklift the pallet straight into your van, box truck or trailer — faster than a delivery window and safer for the parts, because nothing gets handled twice. We hold a finished pallet on our racks for one week at no charge while you clear space or line up an install, and $50 per pallet per week after that. Anything that needs to travel ships LTL freight or full trailer, anywhere in the country. Local delivery can be arranged job by job and is quoted with the work.

How long will you hold a finished job?

One week on our racks at no charge, palletized and out of the way. After that it is $50 per week per pallet — a standard 48 by 120 inch pallet, up to about 24 inches high. Most clients would rather have us hold it a few days than take parts they have nowhere to put.

What’s your payment process?

50–75% deposit at order (order dependent), balance at pickup or before shipping. We accept check, ACH, Zelle, and credit cards (3% processing fee on cards). Net 15 or net 30 terms available for established accounts.

Can I bring my own material?

Yes. We routinely cut customer-supplied stock.

Do you cut materials other than wood?

Yes. Acrylic and plastics are routine on the Thermwood with the right tooling. Non-ferrous metals (aluminum, brass) we can handle on a special-case basis — it’s slower and disrupts the regular production flow, so we discuss those jobs per-project. Send your file and we’ll let you know what’s workable.

Will you sign an NDA?

Yes, when the work calls for it. Send us the agreement and we’ll review.

Pickup, and why we prefer it

Your job leaves here palletized, wrapped and labeled, and we forklift it straight into your van, box truck or trailer. It is faster, it is safer for the parts, and nothing gets handled twice. Most of our clients are in Pinellas, Hillsborough and Sarasota counties — St. Petersburg, Clearwater, Largo, Tampa, Brandon, Bradenton and Sarasota.

We hold it for you

A finished pallet sits on our racks for a week at no charge, so you are not forced to take it the day it comes off the machine. After that it is $50 per week per pallet — tell us at quote time if you need longer and we will price it in.

Shipping

Anything that needs to travel goes out on LTL freight or a full trailer, anywhere in the country — we have shipped programs to Arizona, California, Ohio and New York. Local delivery can be arranged job by job and is quoted with the work.
